DeGabriel Floyd commits to USC

The USC football program adds another verbal as Class of 2019 linebacker DeGabriel Floyd from Hawkins has given a commitment to the Trojans.

Floyd (6-2, 215) had 85 tackles last year for Hawkins as a soph (48 solo) along with 10 sacks. He chose the Trojans over offers from schools such as Michigan, Notre Dame and Nebraska.

DeGabriel is the first commit for USC in the Class of 2019. The Trojans have commitments from 3 linebackers in the class of 2018 in Palaie Gaoteote, Bo Calvert and Raymond Scott.

    D Floyd is gonna be a BEAST. I can’t wait to watch him grow….he was a phenom last year at Hawkins. So glad he is a Trojan. It is indeed a great day.

    Like Watching Seau or Marshawn Lynch playing LB and RB.

    On another note. What’s with Hawkins sidelines!? D Floyd makes some top 10 sports center plays and the Hawkins sidelines look less than apathetic.
